What Works Right Now
Last checked: October 31, 2026. L.O.S Backyard Monsters is the Backyard Monsters Refitted team's restored game, on their server, hosted by L.O.S with one change: you sign in with your L.O.S account. For now only the L.O.S staff can play it. Something not on this list broken? Tell us in Bug Reports.
✅ Working
- Signing in with your L.O.S account from the launcher: no separate account or password.
- The tutorial with Gorgo: your first Sniper Tower, quests and your first Wild Monster attack.
- Your yard: placing new buildings from the Buildings menu, and the resources they cost.
- The Store, where the game's own shiny buys extra workers, sharper tools and more yard space.
- Quests and their rewards.
- Saving: your yard is kept on our server as you play, and is there when you come back (we checked by closing and reopening the game, and by reloading it).
⏳ Not available
- Chat: the chat box says "Chat is currently disconnected". Use the forums or the Discord instead.
- Yards from bymrefitted.com can't be brought over: their server and ours are separate.
Not checked yet
Upgrading buildings, the Map Room, attacking other yards, monster training and Inferno run on the Refitted team's server as they made them, but we haven't play-tested them here yet. Tell us how they go.
Good to know
- Nothing is sold. Shiny comes from the game (you start with some; quests and mushrooms give more).
Reporting a problem
Post in Bug Reports in the forums or on the L.O.S Games Discord: say what you did, what happened, and add a screenshot if you can.
