L.O.S Backyard Monsters brings back Kixeye's Backyard Monsters (2010).
The Backyard Monsters Refitted team
The game is the Backyard Monsters Refitted team's preservation project (github.com/bym-refitted/backyard-monsters-refitted): the restored game client (version 128.5690) and the server they rebuilt for it. We run their client and their server as they made them, and add signing in with your L.O.S account.
Their code is shared under the PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0: Copyright (C) 2025 The Backyard Monsters Refitted team. That's why nothing about L.O.S Backyard Monsters is ever sold. Thank you, Refitted team!

Hosting, the website, wiki, forums, sign-in, staff tools, Discord and the L.O.S launcher are made by the L.O.S team, the people behind L.O.S Farms.

Thanks to everyone who saved the game's files before it shut down and shared them on the Internet Archive and the Wayback Machine. Without them there would be nothing to play.
